Wow, wow wow I'm so freaking impressed with this game. That knight wasn't a knight, it was a TANK. Hanging for like 10 moves in a row but untouchable. Surreal stuff

Topalovs chess always impresses me. I love the way he keeps slowly pressing his opponents until it becomes clear that somehow they cannot fight back

Fun fact: later on at the same tournament, Topalov played the same opening line against Short, but Short chose the line with d5 instead of Qe7 and Topalov got a worse position out of the opening and ended up losing that game.

At <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pSV2Pr31pg&t=240">4:00</a> there's another reason for beshop retreat to B3; which is to avoid the black famous manouver Nxe4. And after white recapture on e4, black can play d5 forking both the bishop and the knight on e4, and equalizes early.
