I loved watching this. I live in Toongabbie, literally on the main street and it was great to see restaurants here that I still haven't tried. Definitely going to try that cheesy naan!

When I was in Colombo I was disappointed in the dishes on offer there.<br>It appears Toongabbie and Pendle Hill have head hunted Sri Lanka's best chefs.<br>Heartily recommend EGB (Elephant Ginger Beer) to put out the fire.<br>Watalappam is also a great dessert to soothe a tingling tongue.

I’m now about 45 days into my Melbourne restart after several years overseas — still settling in, sorting accommodation and getting established with work, so lately I’ve been surviving on supermarket salads and the occasional kebab 😄. Currently looking across security, IT/customer service and retail, so if you ever hear of any opportunities around Melbourne, please keep me in mind. <br>Loved the Toongabbie episode! You should definitely explore more South Indian food too — Tamil, Kerala, Andhra/Telangana and Karnataka cuisines go far beyond the usual dosa/idli. Sydney seems to have a surprisingly deep South Indian/Sri Lankan food scene compared with what I’ve found around Melbourne so far. Would love to see you dig into it! 🇦🇺🇮🇳
