  In Thailand you get into trouble for flying a foreign flag, in UK you get into trouble for flying the UK flag. I think this tells you all you need to know.

  On my best mate&apos;s second visit to Thailand(while I was living there) after me re-telling him how to say Hello, thank you and goodbye and sorry and cheers etc he went to Lumpini stadium and while making a bet he put a 100 Baht note under the leg of his chair, one of the serving ladies freaked out(but realised he was sorry, even though he was saying Khop Khun Khap instead of Kor Thot Khap)...bad place for that mistake, I know quite a few Thai Army guys and when I won about 6000 dollars at a casino on the border(not gonna say exactly where) there were a few of them near-ish, I had to get them to collect me as there were a few geezers our to steal my money back, it got a bit tricky, I have a LOT of stories from South East Asia.<br>Love the place.

  If you get cited by a cop just take the ticket and go pay at the station, there&apos;s no wait and it will probably save you at least $30. A no shirt fee is 500 baht last I checked. And you&apos;ll deprive him his payoff.

  They tried stopping me and saying my driving license didn&apos;t allow me to use you a motorbike. I argued back and said &quot;yes, it does.&quot; A basic american C class license lets you use a motorbike, but not a motorcycle so the cop gave up and let me go.

  Same with a mate of mine he dropped a 1000 ฿ note as he was right on the coast ( Phi Phi ) there was a slight breeze so the note wouldn&apos;t blow away anymore he put his foot on it then was attacked by some old lady with her flipflop🤣
