Good video, RSD is tormenting, ruminating over the smallest things and it's a daily struggle when you walk out the door

Thank you so much for watching my TEDx talk, this topic means so much to me. I really want to start the global conversation about RSD so people fell less alone. Always remember, you’re not broken, simply different and you have always been enough 💚

I was in tears most of this speech! It resonated with me on a very deep level... Having the courage to stand up in front of people and tell your story, will help others hopefully to understand why they feel those feelings more intensely than others...
In a world full of people who don't give it a second thought to a small correction and dont seem to blink twice about being told to do it differently or better..
We thank you Alex!!!
WELL DONE, YOU ARE ENOUGH ❤

Thank you, Alex. Your mission to spread awareness of RSD changed my life, and I'm far from the only one. I no longer think of myself as "broken," just different and by golly that's not a bad thing🌟🌠🌈

I'm so grateful to have found this. My 9 year old has struggled intensely with anxiety and some of his behaviours lately have lead to me finding out about RSD. I see it now as something I've struggled with my entire life, and I'm beyond grateful to be able to name it for him and teach him about it, in hopes that he doesn't have to struggle like many of us have. Thank you so much.

And that photo, does not always look like that for everyone with RSD, we could just be sitting there in silence processing it. Or doing something, stimulating or distracting ourselves with our phones or addictions, something that helps us get through it, could be a number of things, that it could be.

Love the talk, severely underrated

I’m honestly tearing up right now because I’m so moved to hear something so relatable the other day I felt directly into RSD and I wasn’t able to identify it as that but after hearing this video I know for a fact that that’s what I was going through

Great job. I remember about 9 months ago, my diagnosed older sister mentioned RSD. And without any info or any reason, I definitely thought that wasn’t a real thing.

The irony is that it’s exactly the answer to my recent diagnosis at 44. Her and I were missed; and probably my other sister too.

You are doing us all a real service by facing up to it, and giving all of us a platform and a place to learn, grieve and not give up hope.

I’m looking forward to the book. It’s coming at an important time in my life. For the first time in over 20 years, I had another serious episode of it myself.

“Treatment resistant depression” is where they began looking at the level of this head-to-toe take over, I believe. Dysphoria meaning unbearable.

So since your book and platform and podcasts keep coming out, I’m being seen by a wonderful person that herself wasn’t diagnosed several generations ago, and more of us are validating our lifetime of years long painful streaks, I’m here and will continue to be here.

Well done, Alex!🎉
(I'll never forget the before photo you posted, knowing without doubt that you'd be amazing, while feeling frozen with you, and tears dripping down my face).
RSD is brutal as we know. Nobody's ever broken it down as effectively as you. And for that, a great many teary eyed thanks, too.
