The citizen that confronted the police is absolutely a HERO! Thankfully he was not injured, but that poor woman 😢 I pray that she heals and can recover from the assault ! My heart breaks for the pain and suffering she had to endure from those awful police officers .

I'm sick to my stomach hearing about this case. They should've been fired. No pension or benefits. The Officer's and his supervisor both should be bought up on elder abuse and conspiracy since he wanted to use intimidation. Only sociopaths are entertained by the pain of a injured or vulnerable person.

Being a retired RN who loved working in long term care taking care of special people just like this little lady, this is heartbreaking. She is such a tiny frail woman and seems so sweet. I'll never understand why people do the things they do.

I had no idea this happened, I'm heartbroken for Karen. She was picking flowers and the consequences were broken bones and humiliation.

80 pounds of elderly woman was a threat? No. This was cruelty just for the thrill. Shameful and truly disturbing. A BIG thank you to the concerned citizen.

The lack of common sense, decency and humanity is appalling. These officers should be prosecuted. I am proud of the citizen who stood up to the officers. They are thugs clear and simple. I hope Karen Garner is healing mentally and physically.
