  I own a sd9 ve! Its my range pistol. Iv replaced the trigger and the springs. Also a recoil guied thats steel now. Also added a red dot and light. Works like brand new. Its my first pistol.

  This is literally the “best of “ list that is spot on. If you’re blinded by expensive brands, you likely can’t see things objectively. These are all excellent and reliable. I’ve shot all of them. My favorites are first- Canik, second Springfield. Then on from there

  The G3C and the Security9 are literally the only 2 guns that I have bought and both had multiple failures right out of the box. I can literally contact the 2 people that I sold them too right now. I liked both guns, but once they fail multiple times with multiple ammo types they get the hard goodbye. I had a Kimber 45 Aegis pro, and it did the same thing once it was broke in (after 500 rnds).

  I have a G2C from Taurus, had a couple of Caniks, and still have a P-10c and P-10f. They're all great for their purpose and I trust them all. My current EDC, though, is my Steyr M9A2. As much as I love my CZs the Steyr is just...different.

  The used market is reasonable if you know where to look and are willing to negotiate prices. I’ve recently picked up a Walther P22q for around $200 and also grabbed a S&W SD9VE a few weeks ago for UNDER $200. I’ve never been one to shy away from used guns. As long as it’s a reputable brand and dealer. Used = no break in usually. I’m seeing Glocks between 350-450/475 as well.
