  As a traditional Diné(Navajo) we are taught many lessons and stories, there were great monsters and horrible beings, but the ones that lasted the longest was taught to us Diné, the longest lasting monsters are greed and selfishness.

  Why would ANYONE WHO FOUND A TREASURE, go around a poor country full of bandits and desperate people and tell ANYBODY that he found a treasure.  What he should have done is kept his pie hole shut, bought a ticket to Spain and quietly taken his treasure hidden in a bag and left.  In Spain, he could have led a quiet life with no one chasing him for a missing treasure, as long as he kept his mouth shut.

  My ancestor guarded Maximilian's wife as an ex-Confederate mercenary.  He fled the US after the war, and just kept on fighting.  When she departed to Europe she gave each man a pearl from her necklace.

  Rules seemed easy enough in Diego's dream. 1. Don't enter LA with any of it. 2. Don't tell anyone about it. The angel didn't say anything about spending it elsewhere in secret.

  I have an ancestor that knew Santa Ana. He wrote that he was a good man but that his men were awful, they were told strictly to leave my grandfathers horses alone, but they stole them anyway, my grandfather decided he needed to steel back at least his favorite horse.<br><br>We ended up talking about it to a friend who had an ancestor that was one of Sana ana&apos;s men, and he wrote about how one of the guys stole some &nbsp;horses of the same description, Santa was so mad that he shot the thief and was going to return at least his favorite horse but it vanished so he couldnt. <br><br>Was super funny to find the same historical event from 2 different sides 😂

  I tried Aura, but they&apos;re not very user-friendly. &nbsp;They would tell me &quot;your password has been leaked&quot; but they wouldn&apos;t show me which password. &nbsp;It&apos;s far too expensive for such poor service, so I cancelled after the first month.

  While there may be correlation between the gold and the deaths, there is not a causal relationship. The gold is definitely not cursed. Nothing more than a combination of greed, superstition, paranoia, illness, and probability.

  Born and raised in LA, always drove through the Cahuenga Pass. &nbsp;The battle is known in local history. But never learned of this part of the history.
