  Fun fact: Japan loves dinosaurs A LOT. So much that they ALWAYS make sure that the discovery of a dinosaur or other Mesozoic reptile is big news. Because of this, you can see dinosaur-inspired characters in Japanese media (in addition to Godzilla, dinosaurs also inspired several seasons of Super Sentai (which in turn is the inspiration for Power Rangers) as well as various dinosaur-themed monsters in Ultraman, Pokemon, Digimon, and Monster Hunter). Dinosaurs also show up in their popular Doraemon manga and anime. Additionally in Japan, you can buy a lot of dinosaur-themed merchandise in Japan such as toys, books, and clothing, and some of their mascot characters are dinosaurs.

  The way you said “kawaii” at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0caydZBfTZg&amp;t=47">0:47</a> sounded like “kowai,” which means “scary” in Japanese, in which case, these dinosaurs were actually VERY kowai

  The Fukui Dinosaur Museum is one of the coolest places I&apos;ve been to in Japan. Highly recommend.

  This whole video, especially the dinosaur samurai segment, reminds me of Kyoryū, that dinosaur game that’s gonna come out soon along with a animated series. I can’t wait for it to come.
