  My husband and I took a picture during our wedding photoshoot on the beach at night, in the sea facing the moon, so I posted this photo with this song and I think I nailed it.

  This song is so sultry and romantic. I looked it up online in the 2000s because it was the outro of a Grey's Anatomy episode and I was obsessed. I'm glad it's being rediscovered.

  "Shed some light on me please" I LOVE that she is using this metaphor. Using her entrancing voice to speak to the moon, {her man}. She is asking the moon to shed some light unto her, to take it slow and easy, to be gentle. I love love love this lyric and will always believe this Woman is a lyrical genius. I am oddly quite obsessed with the moon, much more reason to also be utterly obsessed with this mysterious and powerful song

  one thing i particularly like hearing in this song is the weird way it constantly sounds like it’s slowing down or dragging, it’s very weird and i like it
