  My duplex tenants begged me tearfully one morning to bury their flat cat hit by car in the yard. Sure. Later that evening their cat showed up on the doorstep. Someone else’s cat got a blessed funeral!

  When I was much younger, my sister and I were visiting friends (also 2 sisters), watching TV when it was still all B&amp;W while lying on the floor - four little girls, lined up with all four heads propped up on a German Shepherd named Bullet. When she had enough, she gently displaced us, did that whole-body shake, and headed for the back door. There&apos;s no arguing with that.

  Our yellow lab thought that the concept of the drive-through was absolutely brilliant. &nbsp;You just lower the window and they stick food through it! &nbsp;It was all we could do to grab those burning hot fries before he snatched them and burned his mouth on them. &nbsp;Mom, me, always had a lap napkin with a pile of cooling fries on it for Wiley. &nbsp;He always got his own small fries, we tried small burgers but he ate them in one “bite”, not that he ever chewed, just swallowed them whole. &nbsp;I didn’t want to have to do a Heimlich on our 140-lb dog in the cab of our pickup while riding down the road!
