  I believe 80+% of the people ever tried to play the guitar first time, this was the melody they tried to recreate.

  as a metalhead who loves different genres of rock&amp;metal, this song has a unique place for me somewhere else in my heart.... funny thing is i found this song w apocalyptica when i was just at the beginnig of my teenagers ages :D so pure, balanced, but also so heavy both with the music and lyrics... &nbsp;deserves it place as a classic...

  On the Howard Stern show, Elton John called this &quot;the most perfect song ever written&quot;. I love the softer, more tender sound from all 4 of the guys here. It&apos;s not my favorite Metallica song, that will always be Master of Puppets, but this is my favorite power ballad. For a while I couldn&apos;t stand to listen to it because it&apos;s so repetitive, but now I&apos;ll go back to it once in a while and be in love with it again. Knowing Metallica can sound like this makes me appreciate the heavy thrash sound even more.

  As someone who’s a fan of power ballads, I do enjoy this song. It is definitely on an intimate level. I give Metallica credit for stretching their artistry, despite the fact they knew plenty of fans would pan their choice and sound. And, don’t get me wrong, sometimes what I want to hear most is a crushingly heavy tune. But at other times I love the combo of heavy music + heavy and heartfelt expression.

  Nothing Else Matters is my favorite Metallica song of all time, favorite album is And Justice for All. They have such a surprising range of music and like most music the emotional state you&apos;re in when you discover them tends to dictate which era of theirs sticks with you the most.

  I´m 50 years old. I can tell that I listen to Metallica every day and can´t get bored ever. <br>I love this song but I am addicted on The Unforgiven.<br>You can react to more Metallica, I will love it ❤<br>Kisses from Brazil.
