  I think people totally misunderstand the olive theory - the important part is that marshall DOES like olives but he gives up the opportunity to eat them just to see lily happy. I’d like to think small sacrifices like that do actually say a lot abt relationships yk

  &quot;Nothing good happens after 2am&quot; to me is like &quot;the gun is always loaded&quot;.<br><br>It&apos;s not true, but acting as if it is, is beneficial. Sure, the gun isn&apos;t ALWAYS loaded, but the rule is good none the less.

  I think if we apply the &quot;crazy/hot scale&quot; individualidtically. It makes more sense. If the person is more attractive to you. Youll be more willing to tolerate behaviour you consider generally &quot;crazy&quot; whatever your personal definition may be (manic behaviour, psycopathy, extreme narcissism, just generally being too much)

  I feel like the 2 am line gets really effective as “no good decisions happen after 2 a.m.”, because with pretty much everything, you are fully capable of doing it the morning after. Whenever it gets late and I/ somebody wants to make a decision when it’s late, I just tell them or myself “if you still wanna do this tomorrow morning, go for it”. Even if you end up making the choice you would have made after 2 a.m., you’ll just be much more glad you had time to think it through
