Madrid Spain here. Once in Ireland we made a stop at Lake Inagh. When I stepped out of the car  every nerve in my body seemed to come alive and I was almost breathless. For days afterwards tears would spring to my eyes at the very thought of the place. I found out that the lake is also known as the gate way to Tir Nan Og or the Celtic land of eternal youth.A mystical realm.

On the island of Guam as a child at the beach. I was in shallow water, an incoming wave knocked me down into the water. People were standing around me talking playing, no one noticed that I was drowning in close proximity to them, I felt a pull on my legs then nothing. I stood up coughing up salt water, no one reacted or noticed what happened. It was like I did not exist, so I got out of the water ( I developed a healthy respect for water on that day ) I mentioned this tale because years later I did some research about the waters surrounding the island of Guam, stories about beings, creatures that lived in those waters. Under water volcanos how the island itself is held up out of the sea by pillars of coral like material ( Submarine s can maneuver under the island. Stories about met folk. Strange things indeed, I look back on what happened to me and wonder was it simply an effect of my being knocked down by a wave and being caught by the water flowing back out to sea... Or was it part of an incident of something more tied to the lore of the island. Take care when you are at the beach.

I'm from India.  I visited Mount Shasta, USA,  2 years ago. I was standing at its base and within a few minutes I was overwhelmed by an unbearable longing that brought tears to my eyes.

What is so disappointing to me is that we as a society have spent our lives failing to understand the true nature our own reality.

As an 11-year-old child, I got lost deep in the woods and then found a meadow at the edge of the forest. When I stepped onto it, I was completely happy and felt a peace that defies description. The world was suddenly different. I can never forget that moment; it's etched into my soul.

I'm a retired professional logger. I have worked and played in remote high forested country all my life. I'm now 71 years old. I have never encountered anything out there that did not belong. I have made a habit of studying the ground for sign left by creatures that live in the wilderness, and I have never seen evidence of anything unknown.  A month ago I drove my truck up the South fork road of the Molalla river to look for placer gold. I drove until I came to a locked gate with a no trespassing sign hanging near the gate. There was soft ground in front of the gate. It was obvious no vehichle had recently been through. I would say, weeks or months. I had only seen one other vehichle in the area that I passed far below where I was. I went down stream from the gate and began digging into the stream bed trying to get down to where gold would settle. There was a lot of water noise. At one point I decided to take a break. I climbed up out of the hole I was working on and leaned against a tree. I was just listening to the water and studying the surrounding geology when I noticed vague difference in the noise of the water. I thought it must have been my imagination. I wasn't sure because my thoughts were focused on a protrusion of rock that had been exposed by a small landslide on the opposite side of the stream. The slide revealed what looked like rotten quartz and iron stain. I was contemplating crossing for samples when I thought I heard the sound. I began paying strict attention to the noise of the stream, and then I heard it again. It came from upstream. It came from so far upstream that it was nearly inaudible in the surrounding noise. This time I recognized it and it gave me an immediate chill. I looked upstream. About forty or fifty yards above me was a fork in the stream. It was easily visible, but I couldn't see much further past the fork because of climbing terrain and timber and brush. Then I heard it again. From up the left fork, I'm guessing, between eighty to one hundred yards I heard the sound made when a rock about the size of a softball is thrown into a deeper part of the stream. Not a clatter of it striking the bottom, but a,... gatusch. It registered. Even though I barely heard it, it obviously did not fit. There were no other humans in the area and wild animals do not throw rocks. It gave me the creeps, but I bent down and picked up a good sized rock and waited. As soon as I heard it again, I threw my rock into the deepest water near me. It made almost the identical tone. Then I stood there awhile, five or ten minutes. I began picking up my gear to leave. In the minutes it took to gather up and climb the bank I never heard it again.

I had a weird experience when I was younger . Travelling a remote track in Central Australia by motorcycle alone called The Mereenie Loop , I was probably about 1/2 way along it roughly 200k&apos;s west of Alice Springs &amp; had my rear tyre blow out . I wasn&apos;t worried as I had adequate food &amp; water for e few days to survive on . I just had to wait till someone else came along so I could get a message to the nearest settlement Kings Canyon Resort for them to send a vehicle to come out &amp; rescue me &amp; my motorbike . After a while another traveller came along &amp; I was able to give them a note to hand in to get the rescue underway . <br>Then there was this moment maybe an hour or two later where it went dead still &amp; quiet . It was quite freaky as you couldn&apos;t hear any birds or insects or the sound of even a breeze . It really freaked me out and made me want to get away from the area , which is the worst thing you can do when stranded in the outback as you should always stay with your vehicle . I just went over &amp; sat right next to my motorbike &amp; stayed right there till the rescue crew arrived . It was like something was trying to entice me or force me away from the location. It still sends shivers up my spine these days when I think about it or write and talk about it . I was lucky that I was experienced at travelling through remote areas &amp; what not to do and what you should do . It made it very obvious why so many inexperienced people in the same sorts of situations do the wrong things &amp; get lost &amp; never seen again .

Knowledge as we know it is imparted as someones experience. But when the knowledge is gained by your own experiences, it has a different meaning in your perception. It is not easy to explain the experience to someone who has not experienced it themselves

Kat Aduca and Uluru; Central Australia, September 1983. A presence, a unique quality of reverence, a deep sense of stillness, inner connection and silence, like this space recognized me; despite numerous other tourists milling around.

With having experienced things that should not exist. &nbsp;Never let curiosity get the best of u . There are things in this world that you do not want to know. Or maybe its a time when other worlds cross ours.. all things change in our world when u are aware of what is in another. &nbsp;Something u will never unknow..

As I drove toward the hill of Tara in Ireland my chest began heaving and I sobbed and sobbed. On the hill I felt the deep relationship with where I stood, the land.
