  What&apos;s interesting now is that for years, Chris was playing along to a midi sequence live for decades, but recently, they&apos;ve switched it to Dan Lancaster playing the synth sequence live on keyboard.

  In case anyone was wondering this bass line is quite difficult to play on trombone. Might be why you don’t see many marching bands playing arrangements.

  Another thing about playing it is the stamina needed to play it for the full duration of the song. From the intro to the first chorus alone there are six rounds of the bassline, which may not sound like much until you realise that 6 rounds equates to 384 semiquavers in a row of just that.<br><br>It’s not too bad at that point from my experience playing it live with mates, but there’s still a way to go after that, and at the end your forearms really start to feel kinda thick (this was at least for the first few times I performed it, but it got easier as I improved). All you can really do to alleviate this is practice, which is probably pretty good for long-term growth as well :)<br><br>Anyways, great video! I really wish I had the kit to play with this tone, maybe I should look more into investing into it!

  As a long time muse fan, you did a very good job for the sound. I made a cover a long time ago and it doesn&apos;t get close (and my playing was nowhere as clean then either). I think it would be interesting to see what you make of the chorus, based on you think Chris plays. Most people get the verses down, but I&apos;ve seen a bunch of different approaches to the chorus.
