  For the first one, there’s a group called sovereign citizens that believes that unless you are actively making money while driving you don’t need a license because you’re traveling not driving- that’s my best bet on what the lady was on about

  Fun fact: sovereign citizens have tried several times to claim that they don't need a license to drive whenever they end up in court. Not a single time has it ever resulted in their charges being dropped due to the fact that their beliefs are complete nonsense.

  for the first one, It&apos;s a common sovereign citizen thing. &quot;I don&apos;t need a license because I&apos;m not DRIVING, I&apos;m TRAVELING&quot; No ma&apos;am. Travel is movement from one locale to another. That is your right. You don&apos;t need a license for that. You do, however, need a license for specific MODES of travel, such as operation of pedals and wheel that control the movement of a vehicle. <br><br>The common thing is &quot;Driving is a commercial act, I&apos;m not driving; I&apos;m travelling because I&apos;m not commercial!&quot; Also along with that is &quot;I&apos;m NOT in [state] I&apos;m in the United states of America, because I don&apos;t recognize the right of state governance, and federal law does not prohibit driving unlicensed, only state law does!&quot;

  Sovereign Citizens are probably one of the dumbest groups of people I&apos;ve ever heard of.<br><br>I don&apos;t mean to promote someone else, but Wendigoon has a video explaining who they are. It&apos;s worth a watch.
