In general, all videos regarding this avoidant trap aim at the same: move on, let go, stop chasing, stop even being available, live your life, forget them. At some point you won't even want them back. And if the came back, they won't have changed.

I was a fearful avoidant myself, ultimately we don't and wont change until we reach the point where we cant just do it anymore.
what I mean by that is you realize the perfect safe person aka phantom-ex you hope for someday isn't real, you can honestly accept its just a fantacy because you are looking for perfection.
I got to a point where the idea of starting over with new relationship's and continuing the cycle literally made me sick.
I knew at 33 I'm getting to old to keep doing this.
lastly I had to heal my fears of being hurt by life and others, learning to accept pain is just a part of life...

I was secure until I dated her. Became slightly anxious and the moment I showed it, boom shes gone.

You always bring up some great points. Your analogy with subtitles and how they interpret emotions was quite brilliant. These research papers were quite interesting!

Imagine being such an oxytocin that you partner with another oxytocin to teach others how to release oxytocin, but they oxytocin you out of the oxytocin you made teaching others how to oxytocin, so now you gotta oxytocin extra hard just to get back all the oxytocin that was oxytocined from you by teaching others how to oxytocin.

I think avoidants love me because I'm extremely independent but I'm also great at being in a relationship and I love having a partner so I get interested and them because they approach me but then they play games and then I cut them off and then they are obsessed with me again but I am not going to keep putting any effort in so then they hate me and want to destroy me

None of this matters. Either they commit to healing in which case the hoops you have to jump through diminish substantially, and there is a chance at a successful relationship.
Or they don't heal and you can stimulate all over the place oxytocin, dopamine, serotonin and Frosted Lucky Charms for that matter and it will always end with them running away.

I’m an FA & I don’t like chaos but I do like consistency, just not too much on the anxious side. I also want to miss you. Just don’t leave me hanging forever. I hate the complete avoidance.
