  Dave This is your best show yet. Kevin is very knowledgeable about the sport and the interworkings so people should listen to him. The main thing I picked up on is he loves B.A.S.S. Deep in his heart. Kevin is a genuine person.

  KVD was the one who got me locked into bass fishing in Kelowna BC Canada back in the early 2000’s. Bought his bass pro shops dvds back in the day w Edwin Evers. Still have his old quantum cranking rod from back in the day. And Dave I watched your FOF show all the time, the cast count made it more real

  I’ve been on the water and my son and I were so very fortunate to watch watch KVD, Rick Clunn, G-Man, Mike iaconelli, Davy Hite, Brandon Palunik, Denny, Tim Horton, Cliff Croche, Aaron Martins and many more fish in 5 separate bassmaster Wheeler, Table rock, Falcon, Pickwick (Florence) and Guntersville and I never touched a rod when I was on the water at the first 2 that I went to, I solely went to observe. But to see the way that locals would screw these guys was crazy (Wheeler and Guntersville especially)

  Congrats on a great podcast. Kevin is always fun to watch, and his positivity makes me want to go fishing. Pro anglers need to pay attention to him, and learn how to present themselves to fans. There's a great deal of Pro Anglers caused this division in tournament fishing by going on social media to complain about FFS. As a 52 year old die hard tournament fishing fan I would  love to express my opinion about how all of the division came about, and why the fans gravitate to it. I will never let the negativity of washed up fishing pros on social media detour me from Loving the sport!

  I remember talking to KVD a few years ago about what it was like when he first came onto the tour scene….and my question to him was “when did you know you were going to be successful?” KVD said, “immediately. I got criticized and doubted, but I was winning immediately so I didn’t pay attention to it.” from that point forward, I looked at this new young angler movement differently and embraced it. it’s no different now…there’s just more of them. great interview with KVD, Mercer.

  KVD is the only actual angler I mentioned in "Doesn't Matter Caught A Fish" he came out and fished our home waters with Addicted Fishing, and when we were building the channel early 2010s never would have thought KVD would guest on it. Turns out, he can finesse Coho like he does bass. No surprise but awesome to see

  KVD is as wise as he is talented. The change i would love to see is the schedules arranged so that the anglers could fish in BASS, MLF and NPFL if they choose to.and extend the season into the summer and fall.
