  I had an &apos;01 Busa. &nbsp;First thing I did was install a delimiter (it simply tells the bike it&apos;s still in 5th, even though it&apos;s in 6th -- because the limiter will only measure wheel speed in 6th gear -- if the computer still thinks you&apos;re in 5th, well...). &nbsp;After that, I had the box cut (that added about 6 or 7 hp), then I installed a high flow air filter (another 2 or 3 hp), then I removed the Yoshi slip on pipes, which are ugly as all hell, and installed a Ti-Force exhaust (another 7 or 8 hp). &nbsp;Top speed... 208 mph (and I measured that with a satellite GPS).<br><br>My buddy tried to convince me to install a turbo on it, but... I mean... to what end? &nbsp;My goal had been to get a bike to 200 mph, and I achieved that goal. &nbsp;It was time to stop. &nbsp;Anything beyond that was just begging for things to go horribly wrong at insane (unsurvivable) speed, on a bike that isn&apos;t at all nimble. &nbsp;The Hayabusa is designed to do one thing... go fast in a relatively straight line. &nbsp;I could make my GSXR 1000 practically dance through traffic. &nbsp;The Busa however... is a 600 lb pig.

  Sounds a lot like the &apos;gentleman&apos;s&apos; agreement amongst Japanese car makers to keep the listed horse power of some of their car at, I think 276 hp, to get around Japanese regulations.

  The peregrine falcon happens to also be considered the fastest bird in the world, that uses its speed to litterally dive bomb and knock other birds out of the sky.

  the Gen 3 Hayabusa is my absolute favorite motorcycle just in aesthetics alone. I nearly jumped out of my seat seeing this video in my recommendations. I love this channel.

  Just like the gentleman&apos;s agreement between the German car makers in the 90s. They started to limiting their &quot;normal&quot; cars to 250km/h (155mph) after cars like the Lotus Omega (285km/h-177mph) got closer and closer to the 300km/h-186mph Supercar sphere.
