  Chris …….. it’s so easy with time to forget, your incredible achievements. What you have done is so unique and beyond most people’s imagination.   When I was 18 , I left home in England and spent a summer camping in Scotland in a little Vango tent. With £28 in my pocket.<br>I remember camping on rannoch moor. It was very windy.<br>Each gust sounded like a train coming across the moor, before it hit my little tent and flattened it against my nose, it then popped up ready for the next one.<br>Still remember that night, 50 years ago.

  This video couldn&apos;t have come at a better time. I&apos;m a 57 year old (ex mil 🆎️) vanlifer that is about to transition into a tent. I&apos;ll be doing a very similar route to yours covering several years.<br><br>I&apos;ve loved the simplicity and solitude of vanlife but feel there is more still to strip back and an even bigger challenge and adventure to be had. <br><br>Thank you, there is a lot of inspiration to be found in your videos and great info to take away from them.

  Such a joy to see this Chris. I remember when you were in Scotland and nearing the NE where I live. It&apos;s wonderful you&apos;ve started a channel and are sharing the highs and lows of the adventure. Gives us so much to think about. A historic journey for sure.   You are so right about technology stripping out humanity - people have forgotten to take time out and see what&apos;s around them including other humans - nature is a wonderful healer - I live in the sticks and both my boys loved roaming the fields etc - it&apos;s done them a great service - now in their 50s they still love the countryside 😊

  I live north of the Cairngorms and have winter camped myself. Nights are already getting chilly, but I love the experience. Lying in my tent and listening to the wind and rain is relaxing and I sleep like the dead. In winter the snow and moonlight is magical. My dog, Duke, keeps me snug and warm too. He loves the adventure and he is my trusted companion.
