  Great tips, I recently split my back focus buttons and it’s made a huge difference! Took some barn swallows in low light and this was a game changer, thanks for sharing!

  Thanks for all your great content. &nbsp;I’ve learned a “lot” from your lessons on this particular tool. &nbsp; The R7 has been stellar for me, but you hit the nail on the head when you said “use it.” &nbsp;The single best thing you can do is learn by doing until it becomes rote behavior. &nbsp;Couldn’t agree more!<br><br>Have a good one man!

  Came from a 7D Mark II &amp; the R7 AF is definitely a different ball game. &nbsp;Got use to it now &amp; pulsing the AF when needed, set my camera up as per your instruction and have achieved some great bird shots. 👌🏾🇦🇺

  I&apos;m glad you&apos;re sharing these tips for the R7. I owned one from June 2022 (launch day) until March of 2024. I barely used it. I would always go back to my R5 which I bought in April 2022. I just didn&apos;t like the R7. I have friends that use it and love it. I moved on to the R5 II. I&apos;m actually curious to see how Canon will improve the R7 with the R7 II. Even though the R7 is an older camera ( technology wise) it&apos;s great that you haven&apos;t forgotten it and the many photographers that use the camera. Thanks, Scott!

  i upgraded from 200d to r7 and it&apos;s a world of a difference.<br><br>these settings apply in part to older canon models as well, as i used some of those before.

  Nice one Scott, the shutter speed is one tip that I&apos;d have never considered to be honest. Have to add that your set-up guide should be compulsory viewing especially for bog-standard hobbyists such as yours truly. Keeps it nice and simple; other than a few additional shortcut buttons, it&apos;s always worked for me. All the best, Merry Xmas, HNY
