  1. Don’t water down your paint as it can make it streaky, instead to want a creamy consistency<br>2. Use it a dry brush to blend your wet paint but make sure to wipe the brush off each time<br>3. Use a little blue for the whites of the eyes/ mix each primary color with white<br> <br>Lol this comment is more so for me than anyone else, I need to summarize your points to make sure I got it and I’m always rewatching your videos

  I just started painting again and I’ve been doing greyscale portraits. I recommend this if you’re wanting to practice shadows and highlights! Full color is a bit more complicated, so the greyscale is a great way to practice since it simplifies things 😇😇😇

  Taking breaks is essential but sometimes I just forget or give up on my painting. Maybe set a timer or listen to some music for a certain amount of time then force yourself to go back and keep going.
