Because it cracked something we were sure was solid. Because we carried it quietly, in the dark, convinced that the breaking meant something had gone wrong. But Rumi saw what we could not. He saw that the place you were torn open was not where your light went out. It was where your light got in. That God does not wait for you to be whole before He enters. He enters through the wound itself. Through the very place you were most ashamed of. Through the crack you spent years trying to hide. This song is for the night that undid you. For the loss that changed everything. For the year you survived without knowing how. For every moment you fell to your knees and felt nothing but silence and wondered if anyone was there. He was there. Not despite the pain. Inside it. The wound was never the end of your story. It was the place your story truly began. ───────────────────────────── These words were inspired by Jalāl ad-Dīn Muḥammad Rūmī (1207–1273) — Persian poet, Sufi mystic, and one of the greatest spiritual voices in human history.
