These 3 fixes are 100% field-tested. This is my second time dialing them in, and I can officially prove they keep the machine running without locking up. I’m documenting the entire process of building this shop—if you want to follow the blueprint and save your own setup, hit Subscribe!

👇 What’s the most frustrating out-of-the-box issue you’ve had to fix? Let me know below.

I wish you lived closer to Pittsboro, NC. I have done a lot of CNC stuff, I used to make CNC Machines for people, but I'm having to be a 24/7 caregiver so I don't get out much anymore. Got a good size cnc shop that is mostly idle.

Shouldn’t be having these issues with a new machine. The oiler issue can be a machine killer and contributes to the “sticktion” you see when an axis starts to move. You don’t want to give up your accuracy and rigidity be loosening the gibs too much. Thanks for sharing!

Nothing is ever easy in manufacturing. It does get a little more reasonable as you grow. You'll learn the strengths and weaknesses of your equipment, how to eek-out every little but of performance, and most importantly, start to have cash that you can just throw at problems as needed

hey sorry you're having all these issues with your machine, its been a few days you got it working right again ? I used to nickname my 770 the time suck when I still had it :face-orange-frowning:

Please remove music. I would rather hear you talk or nothing. The music is annoying. Just some feedback, still a fan….
