  I appreciate Amy so much…for her incredible heart, vulnerability and humility. Her graciousness and ability to share with such depth and wisdom inspires me. I would love nothing more than to sit and have coffee with her, sister to sister. Thank you for this rich conversation. 🤍

  I appreciate Amy&apos;s honest comments about her faith, her doubts, and the ups and downs of her life.<br>I&apos;m curious however as to when this interview was done. Unless I completely misunderstood her, she said she&apos;s going to make some changes at age 62, and she was older than 62 in June 2025, the date the description box says the interview was released.

  At the end she discusses her bible reading habits and how Old Testament stories confuse her and cause an alienation in her mind. I suspect she has not had in depth apologetical teaching that explains many of those traumatic OT events. <br><br>I now suspect she got too far ahead of her doctrinal understanding in her initial Christian career. If you make a lot of noise as a believer you’d better have the answers to a few things… but if you’re flying blind as a religious lyricist you’re going to hit the doctrinal wall soon enough. <br><br>I believe she did hit it, likely with varying degrees of faith sects that claimed her as their own. Ultimately she just wanted peace without the identity game. Going secular made that sticky stuff simpler by changing the subject matter. &nbsp;<br><br>She clearly is no longer interested in making the same impressions she did in Unguarded or Age to Age. But if she no longer saw those records as valid she’d delete them from her site. <br><br>Like a lot of us feel: we know less now than we did 40 years ago. She may avoid the Billy Graham-style salvation message now, but she can’t maintain that posture in light of her life decisions. I’m just grateful I have her early legit recordings right here!

  Amy Grant needs to go to confession to a priest and get her sins absolved. Then she would not feel guilty about anything.😊
