  I lived in Woodbridge for 19 years.I brought a house in Fort Washington MD,it’s so close to DC and Old town Alexandria.7 minutes from the National Harbor.

  We got lucky and I work near Ft Belvoir. My wife works at the Blue Plains Water Treatment Plant, but only has to go into work three times a week. My trip to work is about 22 minutes at about 5:20 AM (no express lanes) and my trip home is 25 minutes, but I use the express lane entrance right before Occoquan, and I get off the express lane at PWC Parkway in Woodbridge at 2 PM, so I spend about $3.50 a day for the express lanes.

  As a woodbridge person. As long as you stay away from the mall area/route 1. The further out you are, the better. I would say Dale City personally is the best part to be at in Woodbridge. Any other place, you risk your car getting smashed in. I bought my house in Dale City for 450k, had to fix it up a bit but it is worth it long term I am sure. I live near the Quartz district too and cant wait for that to be built up. &nbsp;I work in Alexandria personally so the commute is good for me from Woodbridge. But if you had to go to Arlington or DC, you will probably be taking tolls or use your HOV selector from your EZPass.

  What’s funny you’re not talking about the single family homes here…which is very very misleading. .you said Montclair but you have homes on cardinal drive that are excellent with big back yards .That’s entire area excluded…but entertaining these Hoodbridge comment…is not a good look for an objective realtor.
