  Even when she stands quietly all song, she still does it in the most artistic way. Her look, her movements.. . She tells her story with every inch of her body. Such a fantastic performer.

  Was at her funeral in Bray, she was my neighbour, singing, dancing and crying we were. RIP Sinead.

  We all suspected she wasnt a mere mortal when alive. Now we will see, her legacy and chants and truth and dare are immortal. years from now people will ask ‘Madonna who?’ But will know Sinaed. She threw a stone in the lake and we will feel her presence for a long time. Because every new aspiring singer will channel her inner Sinead to have the guts. And so her ripple effect in the water of life just goes on for ever. She showed it was possible to fill stadiums with original real folk chants, following the Irish tradition and to connect it with rock and punk. <br>i like Sineads first work even more than Bjorks, because it has more urgency and something to say, and more connection with people.

  This beautiful presentation was at the Amnesty International concert &quot;Chile a hug to hope&quot; at the National Stadium in 1990. A massive concert to highlight respect for human rights violated during the Pinochet dictatorship. That night Sinead fell in love with all Chileans.
