It ended up hitting 130°F and the air conditioner in my two month old truck was struggling. We had a low of 105°F at 2 o’clock in the morning as we were trying to take our shots. Our views were phenomenal and not obscured by anyone else ruining it with light pollution due to it being a dark sky park and a complete lack of people because of the heat.

Lung scaring from asbestos is called plural plaques, asbestosis is a form of lung cancer, mesothelioma is a cancer specifically of the lung lining/mesothelium

Man, I'm in Alaska, and it's -55° as I type this. I can hear kids outside playing on snowmachines, and I'm about to take a ride myself. There's no such thing as bad weather, folks. Only bad gear. Happy holidays, everyone.

My mom actually had pictures of Mount Saint Helen's going off. Taken from our front yard. I was 5. I was visiting my grandparents. My parents got me back shortly after it erupted . And she had pictures of me riding my Big Wheel through the ash. Not sure why, but I think that we were in a hotel. Both of my parents are gone now so I can't ask. I only vaguely remember playing in the volcanic ash. I remember the house we lived in. We lived in Vancouver Washington.
