  An 80-year old man in Finland created a belt-fed .22 caliber machine gun out of an electric drill. The cam-driven weapon had a firing rate of 420 rpm (for comparison, the US M3 Grease Gun is 450 rpm). The man was not prosecuted, but he had to give up his creation.<br><br>This is day 1 of asking Brandon Herrera on his latest video to remake the old man&apos;s creation so the public can see how it functioned.

  Another common misconception people get is that when the media says he used a 3D printed gun, they think he just clicked print on the internet and out popped a fully functional firearm, it takes a decent amount of work, as well as purchasing real gun parts (barrel, slide, springs, trigger, custom rails, etc) and spend at least a few hours filing and assembling to get a functional firearm. Not to count the 3+ days of calibrating the printer (depending on the printer) to even be capable of printing the tolerances required.
