  I could listen to James talk about circuit nuances all day long. &nbsp;These pedals are like love letters to the history of tone.

  James Santiago knows his stuff. I am glad they did all the nuances of amp, sag, mics, cabs etc. from someone who is expert in the Plexi, because as they said, it truly is a rabbit hole.

  I&apos;m more impressed with the cleans than the driven sounds - and they sound great! All other models/profiles I&apos;ve heard are blown to the weeds by this - it&apos;s the first one that genuinely sounds convincing.

  I bought a Nanocortex 4 weeks ago. But then last week a friend brought over the UA Ruby pedal. We recorded with it and I was blown away by the size and authenticity of the amp sounds. I&apos;m now returning my Nanocortex and purchased the 68 Super Lead and a 1176 pedal. If the quality of sound is as good as the Ruby I&apos;m selling all my pedals and going exclusively UA for home recording.
