  1. &nbsp;The original Game Boy will NOT recharge your batteries. &nbsp;The power port was only for running it from the wall.<br>2. &nbsp;The display produced four shades of grey, not green. &nbsp;The green tint was uniform, and was there because green is easier on the eyes during long play sessions.<br>3. &nbsp;The refresh rate of the screen was 60Hz. &nbsp;That was equal to TVs at the time.<br>4. &nbsp;The contrast wheel was used to adjust the screen for a variety of lighting conditions and for when the batteries were running low. &nbsp;When low, the screen would get lighter, and the contrast wheel let the user compensate.<br>5. &nbsp;GB Pocket won&apos;t charge your batteries either.<br>6. &nbsp;Game Boy ran for about 15 hours on Zinc Carbide batteries. &nbsp;It&apos;ll run for 30 hours on Alkaline.<br>7. &nbsp;Again, GB didn&apos;t display four shades of green. &nbsp;Also, the power savings were due to better internals and streamlining the design. &nbsp;The screen essentially had nothing to do with that.<br>8. &nbsp;GBC ran for much longer than ten hours when using Alkaline batteries vs Zinc Carbide.<br>9. &nbsp;GBC cartridges went up to 8mb, that&apos;s correct, but the original Game Boy had carts that topped out at 4mb, not 32kb. &nbsp;32kb is where they started, not where they ended.<br><br>All in all, I enjoyed the video. &nbsp;Nice visuals and skillful editing. &nbsp;Also, please don&apos;t think I&apos;ve been nit-picking. &nbsp;There were several errors I chose not to mention because they were minor and because I appreciate your work. &nbsp;🙂

  I taped the replacement battery into my Pokemon Gokd cartridge with electrical tape. The battery is still secure almost a decade later. No soldering skills/equipment required. :)

  The GBC really is an advancement and a new generation of game boys but people don’t rally see it that way.
