Hi Johnny! Back in between 1968 and 1970 this beautiful Asian woman swept in to the Kensington Market where I had a retro and design stall called Elevator. I’ve never forgotten the beauty and style of this woman and now I’m 77 years old. THANKYOU for solving the mystery. I’m pretty sure now she must have been Tina Chow - at the time looking like a retro 1920s beauty in a Cloche hat. I enjoy most of your bios.

I went to high school with Tina and her sister Adelle, who was called Bonnie then and later was married to David Byrne.

This channel is very good at revealing individuals that many of us in the UK have never heard of. Keep it coming.

I’ve heard her name over the years but didn’t know her story. She was beautiful!

I knew of some of Tina Chow’s story, but this video was very concise.
Tina was so brave to announce she had AIDS in order to bring heterosexuals to understand it’s a virus that can strike them as well.
A very sad story. I hope she found peace in the afterlife. 🙏

As usual your biographies are very interesting , factual and I feel deliberately unembellished . I must say I knew nothing of this unfortunate lady but definitely one of great character .

 Thanks.
I have a beautiful picture of her in my scrapbook (a real scrapbook, the 'old fashioned' kind).
What a loss, so talented.

Remember Tina so well seeing her at the clubs below 14th streets. Different world. Too much fun but a lot of people didn't make it out

I worked with Tina and her small daughter at a private Fashion Show at The Lycée Français de New York (her daughters school) . This was about Mid 1980's.
