  Brandon is clearly suffering from bipolar disorder. Extreme creativity and energy followed by invalidating depression, not being able to keep a job, feeling like there's a monster inside him, those are all clear signs... I really feel for him. Wish his parents took him to a real doctor.

  Brandon was so genuinely lost in life and looking for help but still ended up just being turned into fodder for the "bootstraps" routine. He deserved better.

  It’s so hilariously obvious that Brandon is bipolar that I can’t believe that he hasn’t been treated for it. He’s not an idiot, he’s very much able to maintain a conversation and clearly articulate what’s happening to him yet everyone he’s surrounded by fails him over and over again.<br><br>He very, very clearly describes manic to depressive cycles. So yeah no wonder the man is completely crippled, he needs treatment that he’s not receiving.

  I love how this man is clearly describing a textbook case of bipolar disorder, and dr. &quot;mental health expert&quot; phil is just telling him to get up in the morning instead of recommending therapies, medications, diet changes, or literally ANYTHING.

  Diamond&apos;s brother&apos;s whole &quot;I&apos;m not transphobic, but&quot; routine is just so exhausting. But the fact Dr Phil didn&apos;t once challenge him speaks volumes. Maybe twenty or thirty years ago we could choose to define transphobia as only the more extreme actions, when this show was filmed people would see right through that guy&apos;s transphobia.<br><br>In the UK recently a young trans girl teenager was violently attacked and killed. A newspaper dead named her, and other newspapers actively refused to mention anywhere in their coverage that she was trans. They referred to her as she, they used her correct name, but did not mention that she was trans under the facade that it &quot;wasn&apos;t relevent&quot;. Which is absurd, because even if the attack was not motivated by her being trans, it is still a detail, as much as her name, where the attack happened, the time it happened. Regardless of whether or not transphobia played a part in the attack, it was so transparently playing a part in the subsequent coverage.

  it&apos;s actually disgusting how Dr. Phil treated Diamonds situation. Its clear that her family is the one being toxic and transphobic to her, and she&apos;s just defending herself. I hope Diamond&apos;s doing better now and is not interacting with her family anymore. She needs to drop them and move on with her life.

  Honestly, I kind of feel like bringing Diamond on the show and saying how terrible and unempathetic she is was just so any transphobic people watching could go “Ugh see, trans people only care about themselves”
