  It's so fucking weird to me that Bill Maher is grateful to live in a world with Mr Beast paying for eye surgery when he could be grateful for living in a world with oxygen, instead.

  I used to love watching Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher when I was like twelve, and I vividly remember him blasting George Bush and the idiots who fell for his appeal as the “candidate you could have a beer with.” and how stupid that was, voting for someone based on their personal likeability rather than policy. Seeing him now boosting Trump cuz Trump wined and dined him is honestly peak comedy.

  Watching this many clips of Maher was painful. That guy is the definition of &quot;confidently incorrect&quot; and &quot;equality feels like oppression to the priviledged&quot;.

  Trump was so clearly manipulating Maher at that dinner, using tactics straight from Dale Carnegie. Trump saw that Maher is clearly an egotist, and so he buttered him up, laughed at his jokes, made him feel like his opinions were valued and important, etc, and Maher ate it up because it felt good to be treated as a VIP by someone very famous and powerful.<br><br>It&apos;s the same schtick that&apos;s always been used by politicians - even by third-rate pick up artists and con men, and he fell right for it. He gave Trump exactly the type of good press he wanted. What a dumb jackass.
