  Keep in mind that Germany is one of the most open and honest countries when it comes to their dark times in history.<br>That deserves a lot of respect.<br>Most countries choose to ignore their dark parts of the past.

  As a German I’ve always found it interesting that we have the supposed reputation of coming to terms and being honest with our past. The more you dig into it, you realize there’s a lot that was swept under the carpet. Many people from the nazi time period kept silent, and honestly I think most Germans including myself don’t have a clue what our grandparents or parents really did or how they felt during this time. I’ll never know because they’re now dead

  A concentration camp near Hamburg once reached out to a gun manufacturer, to see if they would like to sponsor their museum/tour for schools since they used their camps for their production back in WW2. No shit, they denied it and offered coupons for their guns instead.

  It is also important to remember that after the war the occupying western allies purposefully did not prosecute some &quot;minor&quot; nazis, since they needed a &quot;strong West Germany&quot; against the soviets. That meant that alot of former nazis were in government, justice system, police, business and so on

  It&apos;s a good documentary. One suggestion. Make a documentary about the connection of American capital with companies in Nazi Germany almost until the end of WWII. It wouldn&apos;t be a bad idea to do a film about the connection of the English aristocracy with the Nazi &nbsp;Germany.

  Adidas and Puma were founded by brothers Adolf (Adi) and Rudolf Dassler, respectively, who initially ran a shoe company together. Both brothers joined the Nazi party in the 1930s, with Rudolf reportedly being the more ardent supporter. &nbsp;And there are many, many more.
