  As a teenager with ADHD nu metal ticked all the boxes for me, you nailed the end about suiting people who didn't fit in to sub cultures. Great vid thanks

  Nu Metal was my youth and i still like it. Thank god I grew up in the 90s early 2000s

  Most of my favorite songs, and music taste, come from nu metal. I agree that nu metal isn’t, just, only rap metal. I always saw nu metal as a cousin to grunge.

  There's a reason why so many people, including musicians, state that Nu Metal was their gateway into metal or even into rock in general. I was a hardcore hip-hop head in the mid 90s and it took bands like Korn, Linkin Park, Deftones and yes even Limp Bizkit to get me into hard rock.

  Being a metalhead of all genres it gets annoying hearing most people treat nu metal as something outside the genre, &nbsp;especially when it was one of the main reasons I came to love metal and it&apos;s subgenres. I could sit here and stroke your ego<br><br><br><br><br>and that&apos;s exactly what I&apos;m gonna do. Good job Mads ❤️

  Nu-metal saved heavy metal, in my opinion. The media and radio stations in the 90&apos;s wanted metal to die. Metallica going soft on their Load and Re-Load albums didn&apos;t help. Nu-metal brought something fresh to enjoy and help to renew interest and it became a bridge to the later styles in metal in the 2000&apos;s.
