The Dallas Cowboys have been blessed to have 2 of the greatest running backs to ever play in the NFL. And I enjoyed watching every minute of it. Thanks, Tony and Emmitt, for the good memories.

Tony D was a superstar and everybody remembers him as that but just as much credit goes to him for him to keep striving to get better as a pro. He never stopped learning or developing.

Friends of mine met him in 78 at the Jay saldi football camp at briarcliff h.s. I played senior year at 5’11” 185 and my friend said he was my size but was muscular and ridiculously fast.

Glad to hear that he and Emmitt Smith have become best of friends.  They both contributed greatly to their super bowl winning teams!!!!  Both are in the NFL Hall of Fame.  They have a lot in common.  I'm glad they got to know each other.  I've heard that Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach have known each other, and I believe they have had some business ventures together.  I wish Michael Irvin had gotten to know some of the old receivers like Tony Hill and Butch Johnson.  Would like to know if Jay Novacek ever met Billy Joe Dupree or Doug Cosbie.   Great gladiators from different eras, but from the same team should get to know one another, because of their commitment to winning as well as their championship/super bowl wins.
