  When Larry chased down that otherwise sure pick 6 from behind, weighing probably 100 pounds more than the LB running the other way - that might have been the most impressive move from a man that size ever recorded.

  Larry Allen had a horrific upbringing. He made sure it would be different for his children. His children grew up to be beautiful, wonderful intelligent people. A testament to the amazing person Larry was.

  Larry Allen was without question the most dominant offensive lineman the NFL has and very likely will ever see....The definition of the word &quot;UNIT&quot;.... I&apos;m a lifetime Eagle&apos;s fan. But, real recognize real....He was built different. RIP 73/71

  Telling the defense where the ball was going is something I’ve never heard of in the NFL. He was the Larry Bird of football.

  What I respect about Larry Allen is his work ethic and determination. Reggie White threw Larry Allen aside once and Larry said that would never happen again and he turned himself into the player discussed in this video. I respect guys who take setbacks as an opportunity to grow and to make themselves better and he certainly did that. He was all business in the NFL as us Cowboy fans got nothing from him off the field, but his HOF speech showed he was an interesting person and probably a fun guy to be around.
