  Basic rule of thumb is if an animal can get their head through a hole, they can squeeze the rest of the way in too, especially mice and rats.

  Some great ideas Sarah to keep the pests out. One of the problems we have in Australia is possums and bats they eat our peach tree and nectarine tree very annoying. But we do what we can to protect our fruit and vegetables. I do like your setup it looks great. I see Rooney was only interested in one thing a green ball.   Great idea about the enclosure. &nbsp; I also am backed up to an alley and deal with skunks, squirrels, &nbsp;and rats.
