  Really identify with your talk at the end of the video. Sounds a lot like my Dad and Grandpa, and I would want them to be proud of me. I lost my Dad three years ago, and I miss him every day. I don't need the best equipment, just something that gets the job done. God bless the Great American Farmer

  Lengthen the top link out so the guides are pointing up, your digging, you want them angled up some so it will skip over rocks or stumps groundhog holes etc etc

  A neighbor let me borrow his New Holland 258 rolabar rake.  It had two 10' sections.  It did a great job at picking up heavy Johnson grass, but it was very difficult making sharp turns.

  Buddy I feel for you and trust me your dad is exceptionally proud of you I guarantee it. Obviously he taught you a lot cause you know what to look for and how to make this old iron work. I lost my dad in 2009 and I still have his old 990 ih haybine and 62 ih b414 tractor. The old tractor had bubble gum welds and bolts that aren’t the original but it all works. Like your dad, mine used what he had, what he could afford and it worked. <br>God Bless you brother I loved the video and you inspired me to get my old stuff out and get back to work. Thank you. Can’t wait to see more videos. <br>Oh I seen a comment saying sericea was useless, well it’s actually the poor mans alfalfa which sheep, goats and beef cows love and horses like it too as long as it’s still young enough and not stemming. It’s a natural dewormer, has high protein levels, doesn’t cause bloat and helps prevent it, and it dries really fast plus grows in areas where the ground isn’t the best or has high acid levels. <br>I raise a bunch of lespedeza sericea and my customers love it.   They are called sickles. They should be serrated to cut better. Replace them and it will cut better.
