Hi, I'm Andrew. Welcome to Plane View Farm! I recently made a HUGE decision—I sold my cattle and started over with sheep and goats. Now I'm documenting the journey of building a profitable livestock farm on just 20 acres. Every week you'll join me as I tackle real projects around the farm, including: • Raising Katahdin sheep and meat goats • Rotational grazing and pasture improvement • Building fences and farm infrastructure • Buying and restoring farm equipment • Livestock auctions and marketing • Farm finances, successes, mistakes, and lessons learned • The day-to-day reality of running a small livestock farm I'm not someone who claims to have all the answers. Instead, you'll see what actually works, what doesn't, and the decisions that go into building a sustainable sheep and goat operation one season at a time. Whether you're dreaming of starting your own farm, already raising livestock, or simply enjoy following life on a small farm, I hope you'll come along for the journey.
