  After starting summer with a broken ankle, I am finally getting into my beds and cleaning them up. &nbsp;No one other than me is a gardener here so I can definitely relate to the beds needing love. &nbsp;My coping mechanism for seeing these beds was ..there&apos;s grace in gardening. &nbsp;I cleaned up and transplated a few perennials in the one bed. &nbsp;It felt fantastic.

  Jenny, I noticed your bird feeder in the flower bed.. have had one similar for many years! The squirrels were driving me crazy eating all the bird seeds and destroying my feeders. Found mine on Amazon and no more squirrel problems 👏🏻👏🏻❤ The front of your house is looking beautiful, my favorite addition you and Jerry did ❤❤❤

  Thank you for sharing the chicken coop garden. I see that in all my gardens. It was 1,000 degrees here until 2 days ago. I couldn’t even sit in the shade. There’s no way I could have worked in the garden. Now that it’s cool, I’m re-energized and excited for Fall!

  It was because of you I windowpane-planted 5 &apos;North Pole&apos; arborvitaes this spring in my backyard. I love them now and seeing the growth on yours I know my love for them will also grow. I am shearing mine because I want to try to manage their size. Since they&apos;re young, and bunny magnets during winter, I bought cheap tomato cages to invert over the plants and wrap the form with poultry wire. <br>I meticulously picked out the best plants that had foliage down to the base (I mean, I know eventually they&apos;ll show off their &quot;ankles&quot; if not their &quot;calfs&quot;) and chose plants with a single leader. <br><br>I also planted a couple &apos;Double Play Doozie&apos; spirea (why did I only get 2? 🤷🏼‍♀️) around the corner of my shed. I moved a &apos;Paula Faye&apos; peony that surprised me by returning after she took a year off 😳 so that&apos;s where the third spirea will go next year. <br><br>I love &apos;Lemon Coral&apos; sedum. I will always have them in my garden. Just that punctuation of lime green color. Mmm!!<br><br>Dare I say it? I&apos;m almost looking forward to winter now that I&apos;ve planted some winter interest shrubs. Yes. I said it. I will amend that opinion later in winter when I&apos;m tired of snow. But by then I&apos;ll be planning &nbsp;my 2027 gardens to keep me excited.
