  I was one of the first doing archaeological studies at Namu back in 1994 with SFU.  The C-14 dates came back ~ 10,000bp.

  I lived in namu 1990/91 as a kid. I've always wanted to go back. never have. thank you for showing it to me, although it's a hard to watch. I will go back soon. it's beautiful! I love it!

  Thanks for so many memories. Namu, Ocean Falls, Haida Gwaii. My grandfather was a painter when the Martin Hotel was built - loved to see the painter caution sign in Norman's museum.

  I work in terrain stability, mostly with the logging industry in these parts and the biggest impression it's left on me is the care for land stewardship within native owned logging operations. I love working with them because I see they take the long term preservation of the ecosystem seriously. Within industries like logging and fishing I think the most important thing to hold in your mind is the understanding to not take more than can be given. Every single industry, all our lives are downstream from the health of our environment. A dollar extra earned in over production now is paid tenfold in mitigation efforts in the future. If there is to be any longevity to something like the logging industry here in BC we can't be Ouroboros eating our own tail
