If KDB was in Madrid or Barcelona, he would have gotten 2-3 Ballon D'or at least

Even if you are a City fan or not, you can’t tell me you won’t miss this guy. He just re-intervented the midfield role. I even play as a midfielder myself because of him. We will miss our Belgian king!!! 🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪❤️

Played against him before i was Twelve years old against drongen and we score 1 and defeated by 7, i never realized that it wasn't the striker i couldn't stop, later when i was older, i realized how his passing defeated me even before i had to take action, Kevin was already on top of the league before his 12 years old and totally deserves what he has become. I can only say he is one of the many Belgians that took it to elite level.

Liverpool fan here, I see way to many people undermine him. He was scary to play against and seeing him consistently perform every season and adapt to the players around him was equally annoying whilst our midfield dropped off a cliff. In my opinion he should've wont the ballon door in that quadruple season even over haaland. For all him playmaking and attacking prowess I feel his engine and defensive duties often go under the radar.

Best g/a per game ratio in the history of the premier league surpassing every midfielder, a passing range like no other, hes not even a pacy player yet some of footballs fastest names like kyle walker, leroy sane and raheem sterling say hes the fastest on the ball at man city which shows his elegance and control on the ball. His longetivity to do what hes been doing for so many years which midfielders did no doubt but nowhere near as long as de bruyne. no one has the vision and curl that he can get on these passes not even mentioning his insane shooting and set peices corner deliveries and free kicks and penalties against allisson, courtouis, de gea in his prime so no flukes here. most chances created and that says alot considering he predominantly played with jesus and sterling as primary attackers none of which were known to be very clinical. Serial premier league winner, many english domestic cups and a champions league to his name. Won a treble which apart from beckham - no midfielder has really achieved. He is the best the premier league has ever seen without a doubt in my mind.

I wish we had 10 years of a fully fit KDB. From watching every game I feel like the Centurion season was when KDB was at his fittest and then we never saw it again after he got his first major injury the next season. <br>During the centurion season, he wasn’t just assisting and scoring most weeks, but he also was tracking back, putting in good tackles and great interceptions. Just for that one season he was the greatest all action midfielder of all time
