Be happy for the reason of being happy

A taoist would wander mindlessly and purposelessly in the forest since they have no where to be. You are completed in every present moment and live fully. ❤🙏🍃

I was taught by my father who was married to my mother and they shared 10 children together. He taught me “dating is an elimination process.” He never suggested I have sex with any of them before I was married. He also taught me from the time we are elusively dating no more than 2 years should pass. There was not going to be any “situationship” or living together for decades for me. I was born in the 60’s and I get that times are different now. 😉 My daughter is happily married to a man who had 2 children and I wasn’t thrilled. Within the 2 year timeline my dad taught me, my son in law asked us if he could propose to our daughter. Long story short there is a double standard in this area and I would suggest lady #1’s option. The Second Lady will probably die waiting on her so called Boaz in the Black Church.

when your happiness depends on something external—someone’s behavior, success, money, circumstances, or a specific outcome—it can disappear when that condition changes.
