V1 vs Ferryman but they talk a lot

  Hey guys, hope you&apos;ve all enjoyed the video. It&apos;s been cooking for MONTHS, and I&apos;m so happy it came out this way, it&apos;s absolute cinema.<br><br>As you can probably tell from the end credits, I am the voice actor behind the Ferryman. I&apos;ve been a close friend to Jogolord for quite some time, having been the one to convince him to play Ultrakill for the first time (I bet you&apos;re glad I did haha). I watched the Earthmover video when it came out and was really impressed by his interpretation of the story and characters of Ultrakill. Then the V2 video came, and that&apos;s when I was completely blown away. I knew then that I wanted to be a part of this series and at least contribute something to these masterpieces in any way I can. It started when Jogolord reached out to me and asked me to record some gameplay, just a template to roughly measure how long the video would roughly be and to see what kind of shots we wanted. Soon after Jogolord had a solid idea on the writing, he needed to decide on a voice. He reached out to me and asked me to do a few lines and see how it sounded. I grabbed my gaming mic and locked myself in the bathroom and began my audition for the Ferryman. Silly as that was, it turned out extremely well, and I got the role. Around the time when the script was almost finished, I flew back home for a brief holiday, just a few weeks. I decided to take that time to meet up with Jogolord and get all the lines done. He had a more professional mic setup, so as much as the bathroom gaming mic worked, his was the way to go. I was also able to get the guitar done for the brief cover of The Fire is Gone, which was a relief as I couldn&apos;t really record it myself since I didn&apos;t have anything high quality enough. I won&apos;t ramble on about the final speech or anything since it&apos;s all in the video description, we basically had to rush out the final monologue with Ferryman as I had to leave soon. I was also able to do the combat gameplay since Jogolord actually thinks I&apos;m good at the game (A low bar considering the Minor Enemies Knuckleblaster incident). <br><br>I know it&apos;s a whole lot of yap there, but there&apos;s really no other way to describe how much fun it was to work together to make this. It was absolute chaos and I enjoyed every minute of it. <br><br>If you&apos;ve made it this far, thanks for actually sticking through with this ungody ramble. I don&apos;t often comment at all, especially when it comes to talking about stuff like this. I know it&apos;s been said before in the credits, but I want to thank you, the viewers, personally for making this all happen. This series is the way that it is thanks to your support, and truly grateful that thanks to you, my voice can be heard. <br><br>Feel free to ask any questions you have!   It would have been cool if when the ferryman said to not touch his sculpture, V1 said “don’t worry I won’t” and punched it with V2’s arm

  So if i got this right, V1&apos;s arc has basically been:<br><br>-Starting out as a war machine seeking to fulfill its purpose of finishing a war that has already ended, while also desperately fearing its own death<br><br>-Once it gets clear someone or something is keeping it alive, it declares itself the prophesied Messiah that will set Humanity free by absorving all of Hell&apos;s souls into its own bloodstream, serving as some twisted sort of Heaven<br><br>-But now, all it really wants is to finally *die*,continuing onwards only for the sake of finding it&apos;s own ending, be it by the hands of the Ferryman, Gabriel or something else<br><br>That&apos;s an incredible take on Ultrakill&apos;s story, and i cant wait to see where it goes next

  A machine of war, built to stop the war and nothing more, terrified of death and so, it keeps the battle going to survive is an incredible idea i am stealing for my stories.

  The detail of V1 using V2&apos;s voice, out of either &quot;respect&quot; for V2&apos;s last wish (with the addition of the two arms V1 stole), or just to &quot;upgrade&quot; to a new voice is genius

  I find it amusing that the Ferryman hasn&apos;t said a curse word ONCE in this whole video<br><br>Idk how to explain it, but considering that Gabriel himself, an angel knight, was corrupted yet the Ferryman stayed noble was really fascinating
