Keep Marcus safe at all costs..so grateful to have a country boy who stands so gracefully at the intersection of soul, indie rock, and country, but giving a big nod to jazz guitar 👌🏼

Exactly, how I imagine and the sound of the waves as I am turning towards the mountains man. And the dream wakes me up of "what was that" 🐚 The feeling of what do I have, first I'm in boots and sand. One weird day. One dream talking to him about his song, that was the last song, last season and last summer. Thank goodness for the coming sea sons. Like a person that just left from tension. Shaken stirred with. That's my 2 cents worth for Dolly not a bad book.

I love how Marcus interviews himself, and asks himself all the pertinent questions

“Play like nobody’s listening, play like you aren’t listening, dude.” That is amazing.

I do hope they bring back those intro's where they show some shots of the surroundings in the beginning. That really added to the atmosphere in the older episodes imo.

Shamefully(although such is life) I only got round to discovering MK 2 days ago. What an incredible talent and sound. It's like zz top, al green, James brown, BB king and Free all mixed into a big jazzy country bowl. Timelessly good stuff. Very happy

Marcus busts into music theory and jazz comping chords like 7 minutes in and leaves Matt Sweeney in the dust for a second lol
