I give new life to old books. This is not a typical restoration channel. Many of the books I work with are too damaged to retain meaningful value in their original forms, yet they still deserve to be preserved, used, and understood. I have rare access to one of the most remote private libraries in the world, and I help decide how these books can best be preserved for continued use. That gives me the freedom to create something new from each dying book - a true renaissance. The books need to be robust, readable, and useful, while retaining the mystique and history they have gathered in up to three centuries of life. Along the way, I also share special projects, tutorials, and other bindery work from the bench. I hope you will join me in giving these books a few hundred more years of meaningful life. My motto? If you can't judge a book by its cover, it has the wrong cover. Support the channel on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/renaissancebookbinding/membership
