Hi, welcome to my channel. I'm David—a songwriter, artist, producer, and creative coach. I've been pursuing music for more than 25 years. I knew from a young age that I wanted to write songs and build a life around music. However, life had other plans and, for over a decade, I fell into a dark depression that robbed me of my confidence and self-esteem. Still, I knew I needed to find my way back, and over the last few years, that's exactly what I've been doing—one step at a time. Here you'll find honest conversations about songwriting, music production, performing live, creativity, fear, self-doubt, and building a life around music. If music feels like part of who you are—but you've been hiding, procrastinating, or waiting until you're "ready"—I hope these videos encourage you to take the next step—however small. We don't become artists by waiting to feel ready. We become artists by taking meaningful steps, learning from it, and then repeating the process. — Dave
