Fly with me on epic long-distance journeys in the Condor 3 soaring simulator! If you share my love of flying due to your own experiences as a pilot (from airliners to paragliders!), let me open up the world of sailplane cross-country flight to you. Follow my thoughts as I comment on everything (flying techniques/decisions, instrument panel, weather, terrain, landmarks, towns). Look forward to the next adventure every fourth Monday, with a prologue two weeks before that. Sailplanes are possibly the most visually attractive flying machines ever, and this is highlighted with my cinematic approach. I'm a laid-back kind of guy, so my tone probably belies the intense moments (good or bad!) that punctuate these awesome aerial adventures. In real life, I soloed in 1975 as a 15-year-old then flew, took passengers and instructed for several years with gliding clubs.
