📕 The Bench Book — The Honest Buying GuideThe Hi-Fi Bench is where the people who actually open the cabinets tell you the truth about vintage hi-fi. No hype, no AI nonsense, no collector fairy tales — just bench-tested verdicts on the speakers, receivers, turntables and tape decks worth keeping for life, and the beautiful traps to walk straight past. Every piece gets run through one simple test: name, foam, future. Is the name earned by real engineering? Is the foam — the guts, the surrounds, the rubber — honest? And the one that decides everything: does it have a future — can you still get the parts and the service to keep it alive twenty years from now? Prices here are always real, dated and sourced. If you owned this gear in your twenties, or you're hunting for it now, this is your bench. New videos daily. Pull up a stool.
